For RE Agents ::: How To Change Your Password in Matrix MLS
For security, I like to periodically update my passwords. It wasn’t obvious to me where to go on Matrix to update my password. I tried searching the Matrix MLS help section for “password” but was surprised to get zero results. After some googling and research I was able to figure it out. It’s not hard but it’s more obscure that most, so I’ve create a tutorial for anyone else who needs it.
How to update your password in Matrix MLS.
1) Log into Matrix.
2) From the header links, choose “Add/Edit”
3) Under Input box -> Roster -> Choose “Edit Existing”
This will pull up an agent search.
4) Enter your MLS ID in the box and click “Modify”. Or if you don’t know this number, use the Agent Quick search where you can look up by Agent ID, Last Name, First Name, Office ID, or Office Name. Click Search.
If you use the “Agent Search”, you will see something like this:
If you use the “Member MLS ID to Modify” box,, you will see something like this:
5) Enter your new password and click “Submit Member”
That’s it.
